Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract This K-12 school-based position is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide support throughout the upcoming school year. The contract runs approximately from August 11, 2025, through June 5, 2026, with a full-time 40-hour workweek. The role involves managing a caseload of 60-70 students across elementary, middle, and high school populations. Key Responsibilities: Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision, adapting strategies as needed. Document student progress and maintain accurate caseload records. Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student development. Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) processes. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse student populations. Ability to manage a caseload of up to 70 students effectively. Knowledge of K-12 speech and language developmental milestones and therapy techniques. Location: Stanfield, Oregon This contract offers hourly compensation in the range of $30 to $45, based on experience and qualifications.
