Responsibilities
Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) are professionals who hold the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). SLPs engage in professional practice in the areas of communication and swallowing across the life span. Communication includes speech production and fluency, language, cognition, voice, resonance, and hearing. Swallowing includes all aspects of swallowing, including related feeding behaviors
QualificationsSuccessful completion of an accredited speech language pathology educational program and passed approved national examination. Clinical Certificate of Competency. Must be able to travel between sites as needed.
License or Certification
Current Minnesota License to practice Speech Language Pathology or eligible for a Minnesota License. Current BLS certification or completion within 60 days of hire.
If required to provide therapy services in another state, will be required to have a current license to practice Speech Language Pathology in that state.
