Position Summary
Were seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech therapy services to both inpatients and outpatients. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, swallowing disorders (dysphagia), cognitive-communication impairments, and voice disorders . You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation teams to create treatment plans that help patients achieve their highest level of independence.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, plan, and deliver individualized speech therapy interventions in acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient settings.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and progress.
Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries according to hospital standards.
Ensure quality, safety, and compliance in all therapy services.
Qualifications
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; teaching hospital experience preferred.
Georgia SLP license and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
