Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health

American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience and an active license for a day shift assignment.

• Home health setting with PT caseload
• Territory covers a 40-80 mile radius with mileage reimbursed at $0.55 per mile
• Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with work every 6th weekend required
• No on-call requirements for this role
• No floating outside primary assignment
• Uses Epic as the charting/EMR system
• Main responsibilities include providing in-home physical therapy to diverse patient populations within assigned territory
• Gray scrubs are required
• No weekend work is required except every 6th weekend
• No RTO allowed during the first week of the assignment; no more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
• Mileage is reimbursed according to company policy
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• After 12-18 months on assignment, mandatory break periods apply according to role

• Current PT license required if applicable; pending license accepted for Illinois
• Minimum of 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
• Must provide two professional supervisory references from within the last two years
