Travel Occupational Therapist Macon, GA

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join a rehabilitation team in Macon, GA. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in an inpatient rehab setting, working with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedics, neurological disorders, spinal cord injuries, multi-trauma cases, post-operative recovery, and cardiac rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Shift: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week)

• Start Date: ASAP (dependent on credentialing)

• On Call: None

• Weekends: None required

• Holidays: Not required to work on major holidays (Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day)

• Floating: None

• Orientation: 35 days, depending on experience

• Scrub Color: Light Grey

• Parking: Free, on-site

Requirements:

• Must live at least 50 miles from Macon, GA 31210

• Active Georgia Occupational Therapy license

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant occupational therapy experience preferred (first-time travelers considered)

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system preferred

• Ability to treat a variety of rehabilitation diagnoses and work independently

Patient Load:

• Average of 69 patients per therapist per day
