To be eligible, youll need a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited program, as well as state licensure as a Physical Therapist. While CPR certification is preferred, specialized credentials in areas like neurology or geriatrics will only serve to strengthen your application. Previous experience is strongly preferred, along with the ability to manage patients with complex medical and mobility challenges. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential as well as comfort with digital charting and clinical documentation.
