Located in Sedro Woolley, WA, the role focuses on delivering specialized OT services tailored to the needs of children and adolescents within a public school district. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations and needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in IEP meetings as necessary. Manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students, adjusting therapy approaches to diverse learning and developmental needs. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy settings. Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and educational accommodations. Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively while maintaining compliance with district guidelines. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families. Work Schedule: Contract duration: August 27, 2025, through June 12, 2026 (181 school days). Full-time employment at 1.0 FTE. Hours: 7.5 hours per day (7 hours of work plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch). Elementary school hours: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM; secondary school hours: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
