Worksite: Cedar Chapel Special School
Duration: September 2nd through the end of the school year, with services beginning August 27th and 28th
Schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Caseload: Approximately 30 students, shared with another SLP Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver speech and language therapy tailored to students' needs Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student communication development Utilize teletherapy as needed in alignment with best practices Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies Qualifications and Experience: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience in healthcare and pediatric settings Skilled in delivering speech-language services via teletherapy Previous work within a K-12 school environment Ability to address speech and language challenges associated with moderate to severe disabilities This opportunity provides a meaningful way to impact the communication skills and educational progress of students with significant needs.
