Soliant is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to students in the Port Townsend area for the 2025-2026 academic year . This is a full-time, in-person role , but part-time options may be available depending on candidate availability. REPORTS TO:
Director of Special Education SCHEDULE:
Monday through Friday | 7.5 hours per day JOB SUMMARY: This school-based SLP will support students in middle and high school through individualized assessment and therapy services. The role includes collaboration with educators and families, as well as consultative support across Port Townsend and nearby cooperative districts. Start Date: September 2nd, 2025 End Date: June 12th, 2026 (dependent on snow make-up days) Work Environment: In-person required Caseload: 45 students, varied disabilities Preferred: Experience in public school settings MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold or be eligible for a Washington ESA Certificate with SLP endorsement Clearance of Federal Criminal Background Check Skilled in communication, assessment, and individualized therapy planning Committed to inclusive, student-centered service delivery Familiar with IEP processes and compliance in school settings Strong collaboration skills with educators and families PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct speech and language screenings and evaluations Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with the IEP team Provide direct therapy services to support academic and social communication Consult with teachers to support student success in classrooms Maintain accurate service records and progress documentation Collaborate regularly with families and outside service providers as needed Why Choose Soliant?
