This role plays a vital part in assisting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver effective speech therapy services to students. Responsibilities include: Assisting with speech and language therapy under the direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Supporting students in individual and group sessions Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records Preparing therapy materials and managing therapy environments Collaborating with teachers and other staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs) Qualifications: Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with licensed clinicians Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to supporting students' speech and language development Location: School setting in Joliet, Illinois, serving a diverse K-12 student population Details: Contract position for the 2025/2026 school year 2 positions available: 1 full-time and 1 part-time (2 days per week) This role is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting student communication needs in a dynamic school environment.
