Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to support K-5 students in a vibrant elementary school setting in Boston, MA. This contract position spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team comprised of another SLP and an SLPA. This role focuses on serving students in general education as well as those enrolled in sub separate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) programs. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong expertise in working with ASD, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and effective behavior management strategies. This position requires a dedicated professional who is passionate about fostering communication development in diverse learners. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services to K-5 students with varying communication needs, including those with ASD Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Utilize AAC methods and behavioral interventions to support student engagement and progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment Preferred Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with children diagnosed with ASD in school settings Proficiency in AAC devices and methods Strong behavior management skills and strategies Effective communication and teamwork abilities Location: Boston, MA
