Pediatric Speech Therapist in Jersey City, NJ

A bilingual Spanish-speaking Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a school-based position serving Pre-K through 2nd-grade students in Brunswick, NJ. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for part-time availability between 2 to 5 days per week. The role focuses on delivering speech and language services within an elementary school setting.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist License
• Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
• Experience working in pediatric healthcare and school environments
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) required
• Proficiency in Spanish fluency, both oral and written

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students from Pre-K to 2nd grade
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each students needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services
• Participate in school meetings related to student progress and educational planning
