Middle School Pre K School Occupational Therapist Wilmington, Delaware

An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services, specifically for middle school and Pre-K settings. This position is onsite and supports a full-time high school caseload focusing on students with cognitive disabilities and autism. The role offers a leave contract with approximately 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to students with cognitive disabilities and autism.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with families and school personnel to support student development.
• Maintain documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Delaware Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Experience working within school environments, preferably with middle school and Pre-K populations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently and develop effective treatment strategies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
