School Speech & Language Pathology Assistant

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are needed to support an elementary school serving students from kindergarten through fifth grade in Midlothian, VA. This contract position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities for candidates specialized in school and healthcare settings. Key responsibilities include assisting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering speech and language therapy services to K-5 students, implementing individualized treatment plans, documenting student progress, and collaborating with educators and families. Candidates will work under onsite supervision from licensed SLPs, ensuring comprehensive support and professional guidance. Desired qualifications and experience: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in school and/or healthcare environments. Experience supporting speech therapy for elementary-aged children (K-5) preferred. Ability to follow treatment plans and accurately document student progress. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with SLPs, teachers, and families. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards. Location: Midlothian, VA (elementary school setting)

Duration: Contract position for the current school year (CSY)

Schedule: Flexible full-time or part-time shifts available
