Job Responsibilities- Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs and formulate tailored therapy strategies that help them achieve their therapeutic goals
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activities
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic, comprehensive care
- Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and caregivers on therapy interventions to support continued progress at home
- Track Progress and Make Adjustments: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring effective patient progress
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification needed
- A strong enthusiasm for people and a genuine desire to assist others in reaching their maximum independence
