Job Responsibilities

- Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions focusing on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing needs.
- Team up with occupational and physical therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop comprehensive care strategies.
- Provide education to patients and their families to support progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to maintain seamless patient care.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and timely, adhering to established state, federal, and organizational standards.
- Engage in continuous education and collaborate with peers to stay updated with industry advancements.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required for those not yet certified by ASHA.
Certifications
- Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 30 days of employment.
