Under the supervision of a physical therapist, assists with patient care, modalities, therapeutic exercises, rehabilitative therapy, and use of orthopedic/adaptive equipment. Supports treatment plans, performs routine functions, and documents progress within the therapist's established plan.

This wage position is limited to 1,500 hours per agency from May 1-April 30, averaging no more than 29 hours per week, with no state benefits.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and licensed in Virginia.

Preferred: Outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience.
