Summary
Regis College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty Member to teach OTH 640 School-Based Practice in Occupational Therapy for fall 2025. This course is taught IN PERSON on the Weston campus. The content provides students with knowledge and experience in the practical application of OT services within the context of school. Topics include screening, assessment, planning, implementation of interventions, documentation and utilizing individualized educational plans (IEPs).
Qualified applicants will have an advanced degree in Occupational Therapy, experience teaching, and experience in school-based OT or other relevant settings. Responsibilities
- Teach a graduate level course in School-Based Practice
- Engage in all responsibilities associated with teaching including grading, office hours, student engagement, updating course materials as necessary, academic assessment, etc.
- Meet periodically with program director throughout the semester
Qualified Candidates Must Possess
- An advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
- College or university experience teaching and/or significant clinical expertise
- Demonstrated evidence of the use of instructional technology
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Normal office and classroom environments, not subject to extremes in noise, odors, etc.
- Teaching in front of a group
- Extended periods on the computer
