Providing occupational therapy support to students is essential in fostering their academic and personal growth. This role offers the opportunity to deliver both direct and indirect occupational therapy interventions designed to help students achieve their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in a K-12 school setting.
Position Details:
- Location: Eads, Colorado
- School Type: K-12
- Schedule: Full-time, approximately 32-35 hours per week
- Duration: Full school year (contract position)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services tailored to each students needs
- Provide indirect consultation and collaboration with educators and families
- Support students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Work toward meeting and advancing student IEP goals through targeted interventions
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current COTA license
- Willingness to obtain the Colorado Department of Education Special Services Provider license
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
