A school-based Occupational Therapist position is available to support an elementary school caseload during the upcoming school year. This contract role requires dedication to providing therapeutic services that promote student success and independence within the school environment.

Location: Wauconda, Illinois
Schedule: 34 hours per week, aligned with the school year calendar
Setting: Elementary school, single site

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to an elementary student caseload
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Assess student needs and track progress toward therapy goals
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding school-based therapy services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy license
• Experience working in a school setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively
