Description
  • Conduct evaluations for patients in an inpatient or outpatient arena and create tailored treatment plans
  • Implement physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise routines
  • Document evaluations, therapies, and patient progress per facility protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure cohesive patient care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification is favorable
