The community youll be caring **
* Speech Therapy Acute Care
The role youll **
* Works to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication , cognitive communication challenges in children and adults.
The value youll bring to the **
* + Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills
+ Designs appropriate plans of care, including type and frequency of treatment
+ Implements treatment plans using appropriate modalities
+ Documents patient progress
+ Plans and assists with patient discharge from therapy services and provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences youll need to **
* Minimum qualifications :
+ Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
+ A license or provisional license in the State as a Speech and Language Pathologist
