Job Description
  • Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's needs and create tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their personal goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to improve patients motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with other occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to facilitate ongoing progress at home.
  • Monitor Progress and Adjust Treatment: Keep track of clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients are progressing appropriately.
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Support for continuing education and post-graduate certifications will be provided.
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
