Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A temporary Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year, serving high school students in grades 9-12. This contract role offers an opportunity to support adolescents in developing their communication skills within an educational setting. Key Details: Location: Andover, MN Duration: August 25, 2025 - June 5, 2025 Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours (Monday through Friday) Daily Schedule: 7:00 AM - 2:45 PM Caseload: Approximately 55-60 students Number of Openings: 1 Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Provide direct speech and language therapy to support academic and social communication Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational and legal standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure appropriate for school setting Experience working with high school-aged students (grades 9-12) Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and evidence-based interventions Ability to manage a caseload of up to 60 students efficiently Excellent communication and organizational skills This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of high school students.
