Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed for an early childhood educational setting serving Pre-K children ages 3 to 5. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work closely with up to 50 young learners in a hands-on, classroom environment. The contract runs through the current school year with a start date as soon as possible and concludes on June 5th. Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized speech and language assessments and therapy to children aged 3-5 Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate communication goals into daily classroom activities Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent consultations Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with early childhood populations, particularly Pre-K aged children Ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 children effectively Strong communication and teamwork skills Available for full-time work (40 hours per week) on site in Detroit, MI Benefits of this role include the chance to make a meaningful impact during a critical stage of child development, and to gain valuable experience in early childhood speech-language intervention within a supportive school environment.
