Occupational Therapist School Setting in Indianapolis, IN

A full-time School-based Occupational Therapist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Indianapolis, Indiana. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide occupational therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels, supporting two school settingsone Montessori school and one high school. The position involves a caseload spanning both schools, delivering specialized interventions to enhance students functional abilities and participation in their educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective strategies
• Conduct assessments and progress evaluations to guide intervention plans
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all regulatory and district requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid for practice in Indiana
• Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations across a range of grade levels
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
