Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a contract position in a K-12 educational setting serving students with severe autism. This onsite role is located in the Dowagiac, MI area and focuses on providing speech and language therapy across a diverse age range, from kindergarten through age 26. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students with severe autism Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement tailored communication plans Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student development Qualifications and Experience: Valid SLP license with CCC certification Experience working with children and young adults on the autism spectrum Ability to provide services in a school setting Excellent communication and organizational skills Position Details: Onsite work, 3 days per week 7.5-hour workdays Contract duration: Non-school year (NSY) Serving students from kindergarten through age 26 This role offers a unique opportunity to impact the communication skills and overall development of students with severe autism in a supportive educational environment.
