Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide onsite services three days a week in a K-12 school setting serving students with severe autism. The role involves working with individuals ranging from kindergarten through age 26, supporting their communication and speech development needs. Location: Benton Harbor, MI Duration: School Year (NSY) Schedule: 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day Setting: K-12 school specializing in severe autism Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy to students with severe autism across a wide age range (K-12 through age 26) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication goals Document progress and maintain accurate therapy records Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC credentials Experience working with severe autism populations preferred Ability to provide therapy effectively in a school environment Strong communication and teamwork skills This is a contract role requiring onsite presence three days weekly, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with significant communication challenges.
