Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab assignment requiring a valid Michigan PT license and BLS certification.

• Inpatient rehab unit working with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Typical caseload of 4 patients per day with 90-minute sessions
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, plus two weekend days per month
• Use of Cerner EMR system
• May float to a nearby sister hospital as assigned
• Responsible for providing age-appropriate direct patient care and collaborating with team members to achieve patient-centered goals
• Completion of onsite online modules and passing score required one week before start
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for employment
• RTO requests must be specified prior to assignment; post-offer requests will be discussed with management
• Blocked scheduling is not permitted
• Allow at least two weeks for background check and drug screen; immediate lab visit required within 24 hours of offer

• Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist license from the State of Michigan required if applicable
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience preferred; new graduates may be considered with 12-week inpatient rehab or acute care rotation
• Physical Therapist Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or Master's/Doctorate from a CAPTE-accredited program
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective verbal and written communication abilities
