Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A speech-language pathology position is available in Nevada City, CA, serving an elementary school setting for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for SLPs at different stages of their career including those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), school-licensed SLPs, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) experienced in educational environments. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Provide therapy sessions focused on improving speech and language skills Closely track and document student progress throughout therapy Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care Involve and inform families to support student progress and engagement Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution required Current state licensure in speech-language pathology or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in the state of practice This contract position offers access to dedicated support from an experienced advisory team of SLPs within the state, promoting professional growth and development.
