This contract role spans the full school year, offering the chance to apply specialized expertise in assessing and treating speech and language disorders within a diverse student population. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across K-12 grades. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to address students' communication needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and achieve therapeutic goals. Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all relevant educational and healthcare regulations. Provide consultative support and training to school staff regarding speech and language development. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). State School SLP certification or license to practice in educational settings. Experience working effectively within K-12 schools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills conducive to working with children, families, and school staff. Ability to manage caseloads and deliver interventions in a school environment.
