Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to cover a short-term leave in a K-12 school setting. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week with a caseload spanning a wide age range from 3 to 20 years old. The position is located in Chestnut Hill, MA, and requires a commitment until the end of October 2025, starting as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students ages 3 to 20 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication disorders Provide direct speech therapy services addressing articulation, language, fluency, and other communication needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress Utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) methods and devices effectively to enhance communication Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and compliance with school and state regulations Qualifications and Experience: Valid SLP certification with CCC credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Certification or licensure as a School SLP Proven experience working with a pediatric caseload across early childhood to young adult populations Strong knowledge of AAC tools and strategies Ability to work full-time hours in a structured K-12 educational setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Benefits and Work Environment: Full-time, contract position supporting diverse student needs Opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic school environment Supportive colleagues focused on student success Interested candidates with the required credentials and expertise in AAC are encouraged to apply promptly to secure this short-term leave position in Chestnut Hill, MA.
