Pediatric School-Based SLP

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized speech and language services to high school students. This contract role begins on September 2 and continues through the end of the school year, with a 35-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescent populations and a passion for supporting students' communication needs. Key responsibilities include assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders within a high school setting. You will collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Delivering teletherapy services may also be part of the role, extending support to students in various settings. Desired qualifications and skills: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience in pediatric healthcare environments Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and methods Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required Background working within school settings, especially with high school students Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to manage a high caseload effectively Location: Dearborn, MI This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and social success while honing skills in a dynamic educational environment.
