  • Partner with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, families, and caregivers to develop cohesive treatment strategies.
  • Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families to ensure continued progress outside of the clinical environment.
  • Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to guarantee seamless care throughout the patients recovery.
  • Keep detailed, accurate records in line with professional, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and peer interactions to stay apprised of advancements in the field.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
