Job Responsibilities

- Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions, focused on communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing interventions.
- Work hand-in-hand with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and medical professionals, to devise unified treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families to foster progress beyond clinical visits.
- Occasionally participate in inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation that complies with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on advances in speech and language pathology.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still pending.
Certifications Required
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be completed within your first month of employment.
