Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing both standardized tests and observational methodologies.
• Create tailored treatment strategies that target immediate needs as well as long-term communication and swallowing goals.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions, focused on communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing interventions.
• Work hand-in-hand with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and medical professionals, to devise unified treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families to foster progress beyond clinical visits.
• Occasionally participate in inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation that complies with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on advances in speech and language pathology.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still pending.

Certifications Required

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be completed within your first month of employment.
