A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve a K-12 school district in River Falls, WI, focusing on pediatric populations with both in-person and teletherapy options. This contract position runs for the 2025-2026 school year, from August 25 to June 5, offering approximately 20 hours per week.

Location and Caseload:

  • Work across one high school and three nearby 4K sites, allowing for convenient travel between buildings
  • Flexible schedule with an anticipated focus split between 4K students requiring support with language and articulation and high school students with language needs
  • Opportunity to engage in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) services, with proficiency in Proloquo2Go and TouchChat highly valued

Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin license for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • CCC-SLP preferred; candidates in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or those specializing in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, or school settings are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with pediatric populations and familiarity with AAC devices a strong advantage
  • Ability to collaborate with district-provided support staff including paraprofessionals and related service providers
