A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the next school year at an elementary school serving grades K-6 in the Pottstown, PA area. This contract role focuses on providing speech and language services to students with multiple disabilities in a supportive school environment.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech therapy
- Background in teletherapy and school-based speech services
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Ability to serve diverse caseloads K-6, including multiple disabilities
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized education and therapy plans
- Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Providing direct therapy sessions through in-person and teletherapy methods
- Monitoring and reporting student outcomes and maintaining documentation in compliance with school standards
