Pediatric SLP in Edgewood, MD

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist or a Clinical Fellow specializing in pediatrics, seeking a contract position within an elementary school setting. Situated in Edgewood, MD, this role offers the chance to support young learners in developing critical communication skills throughout the school year.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Maryland Speech Language Pathologist license or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow
• ASHA Certification or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
• Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
• Ability to manage a caseload consisting primarily of elementary school students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and families

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged children
• Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and documenting student progress
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Participating in team meetings and professional development activities as needed

This full-time, onsite role entails 35-40 hours per week during the school year as a contract position.
