A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting, providing services during the current school year (CSY) with an itinerant caseload across multiple schools. This position is based in Pittston, PA, within a district that supports both in-person and teletherapy service delivery models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders
- Deliver therapy in both clinical and classroom environments, including teletherapy sessions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license required
- Possession of a teaching certification preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
