Your Role
  • Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to help them accomplish their rehabilitation goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ researched and proven methods to facilitate improvements in patients' physical abilities, cognitive function, and everyday tasks.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to guarantee holistic and comprehensive care for all patients.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic practices that can foster their continued growth and success at home.
  • Track Progress: Monitor and record patient progress and adjust treatment regimens as necessary to ensure ongoing success.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Continued education or post-graduate certifications are welcomed and actively promoted.
Licensing and Certification
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
