Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A K-12 school located in Albany, OR, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to fill a leave contract position. This opportunity offers a valuable role supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential speech and language services within the educational setting. Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students aged 5-18. Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal development and evaluation. Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines related to speech-language services in schools. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with school-aged children, ideally across K-12 populations. Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders. Ability to multitask and manage a caseload effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
