Description
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing a range of assessment tools and observational methods.
- Craft individualized treatment strategies that cater to both immediate and future speech, cognitive, and swallowing goals.
- Deliver targeted speech therapy tailored to enhance communication, language skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and care providers, to achieve unified patient care.
- Provide valuable education and resources to families for supportive care outside of therapy sessions.
- Assist in inpatient therapy requirements when needed, ensuring a seamless experience for your patients.
- Keep accurate clinical documentation that complies with both state and federal guidelines.

Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if awaiting ASHA certification.
Certifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
