This role involves providing therapeutic support to children aged 3 to 5 years old in an early childhood educational setting. The position runs from September 1 through the end of February, with daily hours from 9:00 AM to 3:50 PM, totaling approximately 6 hours and 50 minutes per day. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services tailored to the developmental needs of preschool-aged children. Collaborate with educators and other healthcare professionals to support student communication goals. Utilize teletherapy methods as part of the therapeutic approach when applicable. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, documenting progress and outcomes. Engage nonverbal students with appropriate augmentative and alternative communication techniques. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required. Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, or school settings. Familiarity with speech therapy for preschool-aged children, preferably with prior preschool experience. Comfort and experience with teletherapy platforms. Experience supporting nonverbal children is an asset. Completion or ongoing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) acceptable. Location: This role is based in Toms River, New Jersey, serving one early childhood school.
