Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: NovaCare in Owings Mills MD
Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri) some evenings until 7P
Compensation: starting at $30/hour
NovaCare in Owings Mills MD is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. Well pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. New graduates are welcome to apply. You must have your MD license to start. Our large team treats a diverse population offering a variety of specialty services to include: neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports, amputees, oncology (ReVital), pelvic health (CoreVia), FCEs, a Fall prevention and ACL program on top of general orthopedics.
We have several outpatient locations throughout Carroll and adjacent Baltimore County open for steady part-time or as-needed / per diem coverage.

Responsibilities- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
