Job Duties

  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide cohesive, holistic care.
  • Educate Patients and Family Members: Teach patients and their caregivers effective therapy techniques to facilitate continuous progress at home.
  • Track and Evaluate Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the right path.
Education Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • Mandatory certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
