Physical Therapist Assistant Jobs in Ellensburg, WA
A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) plays a vital role in the therapy industry by providing physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. They help patients who are recovering from injuries and illnesses regain movement and manage pain. PTAs should also have a current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). In terms of academic qualifications, they should have graduated from an accredited PTA program and have a valid license to practice. Before becoming a PTA, individuals may have roles as a Physical Therapy Aide, Fitness Trainer, or Rehabilitation Aide, which provide relevant experience and exposure to the field of physical therapy.
