PTA Jobs in North Dakota
A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) plays a crucial role in the therapy industry by providing support to physical therapists in patient care. They help patients who are recovering from injuries and illnesses regain movement and manage pain. Some of their duties include observing patients before, during, and after therapy, noting their status and reporting back to a physical therapist. In terms of qualifications, a PTA must have an associate's degree from an accredited PTA program and a state-issued certification or licensure. Before becoming a PTA, a person may have roles such as a physical therapist aide where they gain experience in the field or a certified nursing assistant (CNA) where they acquire a basic understanding of patient care.
