Occupational Therapist OT
We are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patent care and serving as a resource in the therapy department.
Description:
Occupational therapy (OT) is an allied health profession that involves the therapeutic use of everyday activities, or occupations, to treat the physical, mental, developmental, and emotional ailments that impact a patients ability to perform daily tasks. The responsibilities of Physical Therapist include (but are not limited to):
- Evaluating a patients condition and needs
- Developing treatment plans to address a patients needs and help them meet specific goals
- Assessing a patients home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patients needs and improve independence
- Training patients and their caregivers to use special equipment
- Assessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposes
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or high in Occupational Therapy or related discipline
- Current state License as an Occupational Therapist
- Current CPR certification
- One (1) year Pediatric experience in home health, acute care, or out-patient setting preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
