Physical Therapist Assistant - Home Health
This is a full time position, working Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm PST
Compensation Band: $38.00 to $41.00 per hour
The physical therapist assistant provides physical therapy services under the direction of the physical therapist and according to the physicians plan of care. Key Responsibilities:

Physical Therapist Assistant - Home Health

The physical therapist assistant provides physical therapy services under the direction of the physical therapist and according to the physicians plan of care. Key Responsibilities:
- Delivers physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist and in alignment with the physicians plan of care.
- Assists patients in relieving pain, restoring function, and maximizing physical performance through active and passive exercises, muscle reeducation, gait training, transfers, and use of prosthetics.
- Applies physical therapy modalities such as heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage as appropriate.
- Instructs patients in the safe use of mobility aids and assistive devices, including wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetics/orthotics.
- Monitors patient responses to therapy, reporting progress or changes in condition to the physical therapist and relevant team members.
- Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment notes and conference records.
- Participates in team meetings and in-service education to support coordinated care and professional development.
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with either an associate degree in science or applied science which is approved by American Physical Therapy Association.
- Current certification or license as required by state law.
- Possesses and maintains current BLS CPR certification.
- HomeCare HomeBase (EMR) experience preferred.
