Job Summary:

Reliable Medical Supply is seeking a skilled and compassionate Casual PRN Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This flexible, on-call position will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in various settings, including home care, ensuring quality care and patient safety at all times. The ideal candidate will be a licensed professional with a strong background in respiratory therapy and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions

Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to patients as prescribed by physicians

Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients' respiratory conditions and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary

Provide patient education on managing respiratory conditions and using medical equipment

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care is coordinated

Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations

Respond promptly to patient needs and provide emergency care when necessary

Maintain and clean respiratory equipment according to safety guidelines

Qualifications and Requirements

Current Respiratory Therapy License in the state of Minnesota

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

At least 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility to work on an as-needed, on-call basis

Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Ability to stand, bend, and kneel as needed for patient care

Comfortable working in various environments, including patients' homes
